ALPINE OFFICIALS WELCOME

Welcome to the USSA Alpine Officials section of the USSA Website. We have attempted to post information in a manner that is easy to navigate and helpful to you in your work as an Alpine Official.

Most of the information has been posted in multiple formats. Some items, particularly rules, are posted only as .pdf files (requiring Adobe Acrobat Reader). Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free utility you can download by clicking the Adobe button at the bottom of this page.

Due to their large size, some of the files are "zipped" or condensed. You will need a "unzipping" program to open these. We recommend WinZip which you can download for free by clicking the WinZip button at the bottom of this page.

The Alpine Officials section is broken in to categories. The relevant information can be found by clicking on the appropriate box.

The Alpine Officials Update page contains information regarding FIS and USSA list dates, F Factors, Officials Clinics dates, and newsletters. (Updated 30 September 2002)
The Officials Certification Viewer allows you to view your Alpine Officials certification levels as well as download lists of officials and their certification levels in a particular area. No address or phone information is available here. This information is updated whenever USSA is sent data from the Regional or Divisional officials chairs. For guidlines regarding advancement please see Alpine Officials Update page.
The Officials History Viewer allows you to view a list of the races you worked and the area you worked in during the season. Only information from USSA scored and FIS events are tracked. The listing is only as complete as the information sent to USSA in the electronic race result files.
The Alpine Rules page contains the USSA Rule Book, FIS Precisions to the ICR, USSA Precisions to the USSA Rule Book, and Regional and Divisional Rules. (Updated 23 September 2002)
The Alpine Forms page contains all of the forms found in the Master Packet of forms as well as some other forms. (Updated 22 November 2002)
The Alpine Officials Manual page contains the Alpine Officials Manual which you can download either as individual chapters or the entire manual. (Updated 6 September 2000)
The Alpine Course Homologation page contains downloadable FIS and USSA Courses files. (Updated 30 January 2001)
